Heimdalls gard (Norhult)

August 12-16, 2026

A relaxed 4-day wild foraging experience in Sweden where you learn to gather, fish, and live self-sufficiently in connection with nature

This wild foraging trip is both a holiday and an immersive nature experience. Over four days, you will actively engage in gathering wild food, fishing, and learning about symbiosis and natural food systems. Everything takes place with respect for the Swedish landscape, seasons, and biodiversity, and is fully taken care of, including camping, brunch, and dinner.

Stay at Heimdalls gard

Heimdall’s Gård, Karskruv 1, Norrhult, is a self-sufficient permaculture farm in the rural interior of southern Sweden, run by Bram Eijgenhuijsen and Esra Dekker. It is a place to stay and learn about living close to nature. The farm offers a peaceful and inspiring base for learning about wild foraging, with a strong focus on sustainability and the ecology of the beautiful Swedish landscape.

To fully experience off-grid living in Sweden, you can stay in your own tent or camper during the wild foraging trip. We share meals together, and every evening there is a campfire to gather around.

You can also rent one of the B&B accommodations: the gnome cabin, the Viking hut, or the folding caravan. Check all options here and feel free to contact us about availability.
