Learn how to naturally dye Dutch sheep’s wool with wild plants and discover the basics of wool spinning. A hands-on workshop about local wool, foraging, natural dyeing and traditional crafts.

Wild Color Workshop: Natural Dyeing with Wild Plants & Learning to Spin

During the Wild Color Workshop, we will work with Dutch sheep’s wool and explore how this special material can be transformed by spinning and dyeing it with plants from the local surroundings. You will learn which wild plants can be used as natural dyes and how to extract colour from plants yourself.

The workshop is relaxed, accessible and above all designed to spark your curiosity about everything you can do with local wool and wild plants. No previous experience with spinning or natural dyeing is needed.
