American crayfish pose a threat to the river ecosystem. They cut away aquatic plants to eat them, dig burrows or for other reasons. The disappearance of aquatic plants changes the ecosystem. Species that live on or from aquatic plants also disappear.

After the foraging walk and fishing, we prepare the caught crawfish together with other wild ingredients on a bonfire. This way you will not only learn how to forage and fish for crawfish, but also how to make delicious dishes from crayfish and cook on a campfire!
