Foraging academy | Online only

The ‘Foraging Academy online only’ is a course that teaches you the basic knowledge on foraging. Before you start foraging it’s recommended to have a basic knowledge on landscapes, soils, plant identification and foraging rules. This will make your learning process easier and faster.

With this knowledge you can go outside and forage for wild edible plants. It is recommended to follow one or multiple foraging walks to also learn how to recognize wild plants in the wild. You can book them here.

The 5 online modules in this course are designed to give you the best basic knowledge on how to ID plants, categorize plant families, read the landscape, gather foraging equipment and to understand the rules, legality and the ethics of foraging.

Note After registering at the ‘Foraging academy online only’ you receive an invitation to take part in the online Mijn Kroos foraging community and the learning platform, where you always have access to the online modules.
