Birding & Bites | Unique Nature Walk in the Netherlands
Looking for a nature experience that goes beyond the ordinary? This unique guided walk combines birdwatching and wild bites into one immersive outdoor adventure. Together with bird guide Puck you’ll learn how to read both the sky and the ground beneath your feet.
During this birdwatching in de Biesbosch, you’ll discover just how rich nature becomes when you split your attention between what flies above and what grows below. As you listen to birdsong and learn to identify species by sight and sound, you’ll also explore edible wild plants and how to forage them safely and sustainably.
Most nature excursions focus on either birds or plants. This experience brings both together:
- Look up and learn to identify birds by sight and sound
- Train your awareness and senses in a completely new way
- Experience the deep connection between ecosystems, plants, and wildlife
- Afterwards, we will enjoy a tasty snack made from foraged ingredients
This combination makes the walk not only educational, but also deeply calming and inspiring. It’s an invitation to slow down, tune in, and reconnect with nature.
Imagine an cosy autumn afternoon in the forest, soft light, birds calling, the scent of wild herbs and you, learning to truly see what’s around you.
