Birdwatching & Foraging Experience | Unique Nature Walk in the Netherlands
Looking for a nature experience that goes beyond the ordinary? This unique guided walk combines birdwatching and wild foraging into one immersive outdoor adventure. Together with bird guide Puck and foraging expert Roos, you’ll learn how to read both the sky and the ground beneath your feet.
During this birdwatching and foraging walk in het Groene Woud, you’ll discover just how rich nature becomes when you split your attention between what flies above and what grows below. As you listen to birdsong and learn to identify species by sight and sound, you’ll also explore edible wild plants and how to forage them safely and sustainably.
Most nature excursions focus on either birds or plants. This experience brings both together:
- Look up and learn to identify birds by sight and sound
- Look down and discover edible wild plants
- Train your awareness and senses in a completely new way
- Experience the deep connection between ecosystems, plants, and wildlife
This combination makes the walk not only educational, but also deeply calming and inspiring. It’s an invitation to slow down, tune in, and reconnect with nature.
Imagine a warm summer evening in the forest, soft light, birds calling, the scent of wild herbs and you, learning to truly see what’s around you.
